| Just got a referbished hp w2207 22 inch monitor it has a "stuck?" red pixel on the screen anyone have any suggestions easy fix or should I call up hp and bitch about it?? |

| If it's only one, I don't think you have any recourse. Most companies have some sort of limit of stuck pixels before they'll even consider taking a monitor back. And I'm not sure, but I don't think you can "fix" them, but I'm sure someone who knows more can give you more info. |

I know that newegg has a policy of at least 8 dead or stuck pixels before you can RMA a monitor. There is no easy way to fix the dead pixels. Maybe if you call the place that you ordered the monitor from and tell them you understand it was refurbished, but the dead pixel is in the dead center and you can't edit photos; they might be able to help.

You have a stuck pixel, not a dead one. Dead pixels are black, stuck pixels can be any color. WikiHow has some suggestions:

| well Hp policy is 3 or more so I couldn't really send it back but I did get rid of it for now I turned off my computer and puched on the monitor were the spot was gave it alittle massage as it was turning on and now it is gone thanks for the advice... |

| the "tap on it with the end of a pen" method has worked for me a few times. |
