They would have to change the rules to allow text though. I love this idea though, I am a huge fan of Post Secrets.

I actually had a discussion with Langdon a couple years ago where I tried to convince him to run a challenge like that: everybody goes out and shoots, and the topic is revealed at rollover. I think I called it "Crapshoot"... I imagined some people would be trying to take an image that covered as many bases as possible (you know the kind, the kid with a duckie on the beach covered in water droplets at sunset with....), others trying to make as generic as possible, others treating as a Free Study and entering whatever was their best shot, etc etc. I imagined that the voting on this challenge would be hysterical...

I wish we could do it :-)

test YUP it works... Juliet, maybe you can grab the 'signature-size" banner from the OLYS resource page? The one you're using is really aggressive...

I've never seen that site before - but it looks like it has real potential for a challenge.

The text is no issue - same principal as the motivational poster challenge.

You probably had "show signatures" unchecked, so you didn't know you were doing it. The most EGREGIOUS sort of offender, LOL: plaster a giant banner over every post and turn off siggys so you don't have to see it yourself :-)

Bear, you can honestly say you know I am a blonde, accident waiting to happen, Murphy's law type of gal!!!!!!!!!

If it can be done and it can be done spectacularly wrong, then you know I am attached to the incident somehow!

I fact I think I should have that in my signature!

Do you know the difference between Murphy's Law and Sod's Law??

Murphy's Law is if it can happen it will happen!

Sod's Law, is if it can happen, it will happen to ME!

I had almost similar idea around 2 years ago. The idea was to give 10 topics or 5 topics and people go on and shoot on them. Finally at rollover the topic is decided, you shot outside it , it will DNMC.
