hahahah, I think we need a spreadsheet wonderperson here to write the scoring system up. I helped make one rule???

If someone wants to hand out medals each week for the team with the highest score be mu guest but as far as the spreadsheet goes I don't think it needs to be on there.

I think it would mean more if they where givien out at the end. That way people have something to work for

okay I have updated the spreadsheet to SHOW you how the point systm works. Once there you will have to look for the [1], [2], and [3] that are near the arrows. click them and read the comments.

And yes I know that on the [3] one I misspelled challenge. (my fingers are cold and I didn't feel like fixing it since it will just be deleted in less than an hour.

Thanks... the challenges will be linked also and depending on how motivated I am during the whole thing I may link each image to the score.

Would it be that much more work to award meadals to the top 3 teams with the highest team average? It would be sad to take away something that is so strongly linked to the Olympics. I hope people are offering to help cujee I dont know if anyone has noticed he is 16 alot of work for a young guy

lol, there are lots of people helping me :P Dirt_Diver is doing the spreadsheet which is taking a huge load off the working aspect of this thing.

Spreadsheet is coming along just fine. For the most part it is done and will download all the scores from the challenge automatically.

Here's how the point system will work.

After the first competition is over and all the scores are published the data will be recorded in the following way.

1. Individual average of all challenges entered.
2. Team average for each challenge entered by each member (not just the top 4, unless you want it that way. If so say something now!)
3. Over all team average for ALL challenges entered.
4. The top "team average from each challenge will get awarded 3 points, 2nd place will be awarded 2 points and 3rd will get 1 point.
5. The team at the end of Olympics with the most points is the winner. The team with the next highest will be 2nd place and 3rd highest will be 3rd place. That is when you will be awarded your special gift from cujee.

Olympics are all about pressure... I my vote is with all in. sort of evens the overages out anyway

Agree that it should be top 4 (or 5). This will maximize everyone's participation. In addition to the above reason, this way people will not try to game the system by not entering what they think are the weakest photos of their team.

Ok all of the teams listed as "completed" in cujee's first post should have a jersey and banner. When New Zealand's roster is finalized I'll create their banner. As for the rest of the teams, I'll wait until those fill up some more before doing their jerseys.
