Spence, I recognise the handle from dropzone.com - good to see you here, I thought that I was the only one on here taking freefall shots!

Whoa, nice shot, Frank....

Yes, you should have jumped, but more importantly, Chris should have pushed you out. ;-)

Cindi has kind of resparked my interest in shooting again. Although if I start jumping the camera helmet again I'll have to spent some money on a new still camera and a new canopy. My Alpha has gotten a little to unpredictable to jump with the camera gear. I guess I should not have sold that Spectre I never thought I would jump again.

To whoever said I should have pushed her. I'm afraid of her. She's small but she can be mean. :-) You all will have to work on her. I know she wants to. And after all, I have taken pictures before, she should at least try one skydive. It would be rude not to.

You're not kidding. Earlier today she threatened to mail me poo.

I was only trying to ask why I had it stuck in my head about the Munchkins singing, "We represent, the lollipop guild... the lollipop guild, the lollipop guild and in the name of the lollipop guild, we'd like to offer you a Munchkin man."

That's it! I'm mailing you a steaming dog pile present today! Hopefully it gets lost in the mail long enough to ferment properly! :P

James, if you help Chris resize any antique pics of me, I'm going to short-sheet your bed when you come to visit AND the dogs are sleeping in your room!! :P

My best friend paid for me to skydive as a wedding present. I was just looking through the pictures (from the ground) the other day. The two of us and my brother jumped with a guy strapped on our backs. Next time I jump, I want to freefall with a group and strap my camera to my hand! It was an awesome experience...looking at Cindi's pics, brought back the rush of adrenaline(sp) that I felt falling out of the sky!

Great pics, glad to see you didn't puke, and if you do jump next time...make sure you are set on burst mode (you will get more than one picture as you clinch your fingers around your camera)!

looks like a lot of fun. No worry, last year there was a frefaller who landed without his chute opening near an island off Florida, and lived.

Wait, am I supposed to be comforted by the fact that he lived? I'm freaked out by the fact that his canopy didn't open! lol

Find out where and when this was and I'll find out the whole story. As with most things the media rarely gets stories about skydiving accidents correct. It's a catch 22 really. They screw up the stories because we won't talk to them and we won't talk to them because they always twists words and write for shock effect.

It should have read: I want to freefall with a group and strap my camera to my hand...and a 'chute to my back!
