Okay, everyone was such a wonderful help last time I asked for gift ideas last time. I just wanted to thank you all for your wonderful ideas.
Now, this is my wifes first Valentine's Day married so I thought I would splurge on her a little (splurge for a married college student with a baby on the way is around $100, give or take $20) and get her a new digital camera.
She has had this crappy little kodak that has seen MUCH better days. It will actually turn on 1 out of 5 times, sometimes freezes, and the list goes on and on. Again, she is the type that will use something until it is BROKEN broken, unrepairable beyond repair, so she doesn't even expect one. She is really easy to please and doesn't want much.
She loves taking pictures of her class she teaches and even though she says that I have my big fancy setup, I figure she needs one for HER. I have yet to see her start snapping away with my Rebel XT with the Tammy 28-75 and Speedlite 430EX if you know what I mean.
Anyway, I just thought it would be nice to get her something that was newer and nicer than what she has, something for just HER.
I have been so caught up in DSLR land that I haven't paid much attention to the point and shoot market.
I saw a pink Kodak C613 for $90, but saw that the picture quality (not that I'm looking for stellar, just 4x6 prints) wasn't that great. I dunno.
I'm just trying to find a good-reliable, low-end gift camera for my wife, any suggestions?
Thanks again!
