There seems to be have been no talk about Snapvillage, Corbis's response to Getty buying iStockphoto to enter the microstock world, since this thread last June, and I was wondering if anyone here is on their books and seeing any good returns?

		| I am there but not many sales so far. It is still a beta site and I don't expect much until they launch properly. I am uploading now as they are owned by Corbis and they are a huge stock agency. Hopefully they will do as well in the micro/midstock market. |

Yeah I am there but sales are pretty slow. I guess they haven't gone 'live' yet but considering it is backed by Corbis I would be expecting a better site and performance.

They should have the baking though to make it work, and considering they could use microstoft as a sales venue - advertising should not be a problem. Time will tell I suppose.

A large number of microstockgroup.com members are also submitting there - and have had similar low sales.

I decided to join snapvillage as well, since I am starting to get more and more images on the other stock sites. They are starting to earn fairly well, so branching out may help bring in some extra cash. I have a photography/microstock website that I track my earnings each month from the different microstock sites, so we will see how snapvillage does for me and hopefully I can start posting some earnings. I've wondered how a person would do if they posted to all the microstock sites they can find. Would be interesting to see how much it would boost earnings. Probably not worth the time. I have found that snapvillage is fairly easy to post to, other than no ftp, so the first batch to quite some time.

 Happy Downloads!

i really don't think it would be worth your time to submit to all the low performers. on the best of the poor sites I have several thounsand images and earnings are very meager... it would definatly not be worth my time to submit to more poor performing sites.

stick to the big 6 plus a few more.
