Hand dominance and brain dominance are not related.
Here is a quiz to help you determine your brain dominance. |
I am right handed and right brained too! |
According to this quiz I am equally brained
"You Are 50% Left Brained, 50% Right Brained
The left side of your brain controls verbal ability, attention to detail, and reasoning.
Left brained people are good at communication and persuading others.
If you're left brained, you are likely good at math and logic.
Your left brain prefers dogs, reading, and quiet.
The right side of your brain is all about creativity and flexibility.
Daring and intuitive, right brained people see the world in their unique way.
If you're right brained, you likely have a talent for creative writing and art.
Your right brain prefers day dreaming, philosophy, and sports."
but im not ambidextrous, i'm a righty

I took the test....
"You Are 30% Left Brained, 70% Right Brained"
This could explain why my wife thinks I'm a fruitcake......

Just saw this and took the quiz...
40% 60% which would explain why my photos are so AVERAGE....ugh!
If I were rich and had time...I'm sure my creative side would appear far more! :P |

Just to throw in a extra question, Which of your eyes is dominant? i.e. which one do you use to look through eyepiece with?
I ask because of the number of beginners I've come across at archery who are right handed but have a dominant left eye (and vice-versa) which is not a helpful combination.
Personally I'm 60% left, 40% right brained (explains why I take uncreative photos), right handed and dominant right eye

lefty, almost never favor right hand, except for scissors-use
70/30, favoring the right brain
tend to sight with right eye, although that may be because the left eye alternative is slightly more nose-smashing and uncomfortable. :)

As I mentioned earlier, I'm right handed and left eye dominant. I believe the official term is cross-dominant.
With shooting sports, it's better in the long run to shoot based on eye dominance and not handedness. It will seem awkward at first, but once the muscles are trained to shoot that way, it will be much more natural. |
