Ok, let me think logically now... some math maybe, but not much.

If there were around five 6+'s in "old ways" challenge, and I was thinking I'd be in first 5, but got 11th place... that means, right now, there are no 6+'s in this thread, only mine, and I now think I will be in firs 10, and get my star... Soooo, my prediction should be valid.

No ribbon, but a star :D

Oh I am... :) until the next challenge :) I am just too bored sometimes, not much business here in the office (unfortunately), cold outside not good for shooting... so, when you stuck in the office or at home, run out of things to do... (I hate to watch TV) I bother people here LOL

Oh yeah... Here is my prediction... There is at least one 8+ in this challenge. at least four 7+'s

I just checked the entries once again, very very nice shots, and I don't even think I will be in 10, hopefully 20 :D

I still love that camera though, always take it with me on holiday so I don't have to lug around that big camera bag all the time. (And worry about my K10D getting stolen)

Well I'm not in this challenge, but I have to say there are some stunning images in it . . makes me glad I didnt enter after all : )

I am mostly through voting now and will do some more commenting soon, hopefully on a range of images.

I agree that there are many good ads in this comp (even some great ones). Even with the basic editing restrictions. My job has me reviewing ads for my law firm and others that I consult for. I've been trying to comment on each one and hope that I've not pissed anyone off. PLease PM me if you're really offended or want a deeper explaination (although some of my comments are pretty wordy). This is also a good excercise for me and I appreciate everyone's patience. Trust me when I say that I gave alot more detail and was a lot more civil than I would be at my job. I didn't ask "what's wrong with you?" or state "you're joking ? right?" once.

Please realize that in the real world of ads that it's a process. Ads come to us and I reject many and take ideas I like and try to develop them with the art and creative people we use. Very few hit a home run on the first try.

Edit to add that mine is at a paltry 5.16 but I like it.

It was a good ride... I did make a mistake, and I asked to be checked... I don't want to look like cheating purposely... So, next I know what not to do. I am going to post my image on my first page, very proud of it, and why it was DQed. I have nothing against SC, they only did their job.

I will win ribbon in Panning challenge, mark my word... with "erasable marker", I think using "permanent marker" is illegal :)

My job has me reviewing ads for my law firm and others that I consult for. I've been trying to comment on each one and I finally finished. Some really nice work in this group. It was a pleasure and a learning experience for me. I felt I was fair and hope I didn't upset anyone too much...Thanks
