I can't find my 10-17 mm Fisheye zoom ;-(
I last used it a month ago, and I fear it may have slipped out of my camera bag sometime (because sometimes I forget to do the zips up properly)...
But I'll be able to replace it with my prize money when I win the local newspaper's photo contest this year. |

First prize is ¥100,000 (say, $1000), but I'm only assuming I will win it. ;-Þ |

I find the idea of a fisheye zoom intriguing. I was unaware such a thing existed.

I actually thought I had lost my 77mm 1.8 but I found it in one of my jackets that I wore the last time I used the lens. |

It will likely show up again, about the time that the new one is out of the packaging and in use. That looks like a fun and useful lens. I would be totally bummed out too.

I agree - very interesting. Especially since I'm considering buying the Sigma 10-20... So, do I enjoy the fisheye effect?? What does it look like at 17mm? I assume a crop of the 10, so a bit less fishy, eh?

Do I sense another thread leading Leroy into a lens purchase?
I have to admit, I impulse bought the 10-17 fisheye, I love it. Looking forward to using it this summer- if I can ever get all the work cleared from my desk.
