This image may only be recogniseable to the Aussies.

This morning I had morning tea with this man...and then had to cover the photographic side of his duties.. But who is he???? Think.....very....carefully?

For some reason, he does look familiar but for the life of me, I don't know why.

Although I am American and have never traveled to OZ, my grandfather was born there, his father used to be Mayor of Melbourne around the turn of the 18th/19th century, and I have always wanted to go ad visit my friends and relatives from there. So, I do perk up my ears whenever there is anything said on TV or whatever about your wondrous land. So maybe I know him from somewhere...but....

Hint??????

It isn't fair... sulamk probably knew it off the top of her head...I had to search Google. Do I at least get a point for effort?

Still looks familiar though!

Yeah! I guess it is not fair! My mothers family, my grandfather James Santowski etc. were Australian from Queensland (Cairns & Mount Molloy) and my fathers English and they all landed up in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) where I was born.
