Is there a plug-in for Firefox that will allow you do navigate around the page by pressing the space bar and dragging around the page, similar to how it works in Photoshop.

I hate switching over to Firefox from PS and feeling I have somehow become crippled.

You can try opera and use mouse gestures.

Between mouse gestures (Firefox) and the mouse wheel with the tilt function (so I can use the wheel to go up, down, left and right), it is a bit different, but just as good.

Yes, but I often have my pen in hand when I switch over to press the updae button and don't want to switch over to the mouse.

How do mouse gestures work?

You draw certain shapes with your mouse, like a quick up then down stroke anywhere on the page refreshes the page. An L shape closes it, an upward stroke over a link opens in a new tab, etc.

ETA: Those mouse gestures are addictive. I keep trying to use them even in Windows Explorer, and miss them terribly if I'm forced to use IE or someone else's computer.

Pretty effectively, especially in traffic jams.

Yes to the latter. That would be freakin' awesome. No to the former, unless you're talking about math.

Try it out. I use it. It's part of what makes it so hard to go back to IE.

I don't think I could get accustomed to gestures on my own computer at home, because I use other computers at school (mostly for surfing the web, *a-hem*).
