I've never had a good time with the whole profile thing.
I have an Epson R800 and I want to use some Canon Glossy Paper that I have. I usually use Epson Premium Papers without a hitch but anything else I use is a complete an utter disaster. I aslo have some Inkpress Chrome Luster that I'd like to try.
So...where do I find the profiles and where do I store them. I print through PS 2 if that's an issue.

The profiles should be stored where all your other printer profiles are stored. Just look for the ones that came with your printer and put the new ones there.
As there probably isn't a canned profile for printing on Canon paper with an Epson printer, you'll have to make your own or have one custom made for you.
As far as the Chrome Luster paper goes, the manufacturer may have a profile that you can download for it. |

That's the problem. I don't know where they're kept and it's driving me postal. I'm using a Mac G5 but I assume the folder names are similar to a pc's.
I've looked for this folder more times than I'd like to admit... |

Look for files with the extension icm or icc
