Does anyone have any experience buying from Alzo Digital?
I spotted one of their on-line ads on DPC and checked out their site, they certainly have some interesting stuff!

Any feedback is appreciated. (In other words, safe to buy from Alzo online?)

Thanks in advance!

I've been looking at some of their flash brackets. They have ads in "Studio Photography" magazine, and I've seen some reviews of their brackets in that. I think they're okay to deal with.

I can't find any ratings on the seller with a Google search, but I can't find any complaints, either. The domain name has been registered for five years.

The website is registered to Akces Media LLC. which has been a member of the Better Business Bureau since 2003. Their BBB reliability report shows a satisfactory rating, with one complaint in the last 36 months, which was resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

Terry / Amanda - Thanks for the info.

I also have not found anything significant that was negative about Alzo.
I've got my eye on their digital flip flash bracket, which I saw another thread about specifically, but no conclusions there either.

I'll give Alzo a shot and report back to the group via the respective threads.

Cheers!
Ralf

Ok, DPC'ers - I received my Alzo Digital flip-flash bracket and soft box kit! Thumbs up so far from me.

Alzo Flip-Flash and Softbox Kit

First impressions:
Easy to order from online. Trackable free shipping when ordering in the US over USD$100. Arrived well packaged, product includes durable storage bag(s) for each piece.
No detailed instructions, but not necessary, as the website has full assembly instructions.

Alzo Digital, as a vendor:
Very easy, and they delivered what was advertised. I'm very satisfied and would order from them again.

Product (see link above):
Fit and finish on the product is very good. Easy to assemble without tools, other than a coin from my pocket to mount the base to the camera. I need to review the on line instructions for the benefit of a few catches on the bracket, but nothing that does not make sense.

Bottom line so far:
Very pleased, not disappointed in the least, and would certainly look at this vendor's product line again for future purchases.

I'll report back again after I've got some images as a result of the product!

Cheers.
R.
