Well, Juliet got here safely, albeit with an altitude migraine from flying. She's pretty perky this morning though. I was showing her the 430EX flash and how to bounce it, and she took a shot of me. Then I was showing her how to tone map, and how to do "strong" B/W conversions, and this is the result:
She's out walking to the beach in the cold right now. I *think* I have weaned her off of full auto and onto RAW+JPG. We'll see...

| Actually it's better than I said in my comment - so it should be in Juliet's portfolio. It's like the Rembrandt self portrait; don't know why it took me so long to see that. |

Well, as you all know, I am here, Bear is still alive and kicking. So there, =P too all of you that thought I was going to kill him in sleep!
It is really lovely up here until you get into the wind on the beach, then it is f********g freezing arse cold.

a pathetic 60, and 120 on my 2 gig, phhhft MIND you, I always shot in RAW for the light painting lol (will that help you to forget??)
We are having cheesy spuds and a chicken basted in lemon and carrots
