Guess my info about Nero being low cost is outdated as the current version is $69. Paint Shop Photo Album 4 is $38 downloaded from the Jasc site.

It will make VCD's with audio from your images on CD-R that will play on your computer and most DVD players. Sorry for the bum steer on Nero.

I personally would think Nero would be the best choice for any kind of CD burning

I used to use Nero, but it wouldnt give me sub areas, just a list of pictures. I upgraded to Ulead Pictureshow v1, which is great. However, it was temperamental when running on my 2yr old DVD player. Then I upgraded to v2. Even better, a lot more functions, but the DVD player stoped on the 3rd menu screen.

I have now bought a £50 DVD player and everything runs fine. I would recommend the Ulead v2

I use Adobe Premier and Bryce to make my photos into videos, and burn it on VCD using Nero.
