Have you ever been on a company sponsored outing that was incredible? Or one that has really been painful? I'd love to hear some ideas/thoughts/experiences...
We are located in the Philly/NY area, have a small staff of 20, and have a decent budget.
Sorry that this not photography related...so to get back on topic, here is a new picture of my daughter!

We had a meeting at a local sports park ... which included racing go-carts among other activities. (and yes, I happen to be in some of these pictures, which is unusual because I'm always the one behind the camera.
Another activity was a team-building exercise using GPS's and walkie-talkies. At the end, we all gathered in one place for lunch and some fun - including volleyball and other activities.

First off, beautiful daughter, Cngrats. Yes I have been to both. I was an event planner for corporate functions. Working with committees to plan these events was pure hell.... the best would probably be the horse track. Chartered a bus, got liquored up on the way, had a private suite at the event, buffet, bar. The worst, well probably to a waterpark where either they were too reserved to wear a swimsuit, or they were showing more than you wanted too see. Defintley not a team building event. |

Zoo is good if the group does not necessarily want to stick together the entire time -- eat lunch first and then people can roam around in small groups of their choosing. This is especially good if families/kids are invited, but less so if only the employees will attend. |

I think that covers 95% of the corporate outings I've been on. The 5% allowed alcohol which proved to 'loosen' things up.
