Here's another trick I've used on vacation, particularly for timed or self-timer exposures. Bring an empty gallon ziploc bag along. When you get to your destination, buy a bag or too of dried beans and dump them into the ziploc. Viola -- instant bean bag support for a couple bucks, and no hassle of lugging the tripod too or from your destination. |
