Just noticed there is not a new open challenge posted? Was just wondering why?

It's been that way for several weeks now. I don't get to see the next open challenge til after work on Wednesdays, and it really annoys me, cause I passed up a fantastic urban landscape last Wednesday cause I didn't know it was the challenge, and I didn't bother taking a few minutes to capture the rainbow over the city. Had I known on my way home last week I would have taken the time.

I know the reason for Tuesday night instead of Sunday night was to lessen the load on the server but I hate the Tuesday night closing on the challenge. Is that just me or is Tuesday just a very bad night?

Tuesday is Jagermeister Poker Night down at the local DPC Update Substation .. very rough nite, esp for those that lose ... ;D

Thanks, I was wondering why it wasn't posted.. have refreshed several times and checked everything and it still is not showing up for me...but now I know what the challenge is I can get started. Thanks again.

OK I say we do a challenge on Road Kills. "dress up road kill in cute little costumes and set them up as cute little action figures".

Waiter, I need coffe please. Prozac too if you got 'em.

insect macro was a joke given we had so many bug macro challenges in a row

Do this:
1) take the best bug macro you can.

2) take a nice flower/flower bug macro.

3) shoot the best picture you can of the week.

Find a way to enter one of above said pictures into whatever challenge does open up.

the challenge could be:

take any picture you want
no editting rules
no size rules
no rules rule

then figure out a way to submit it

be creative

all submissions win a ribbon and a place in the hackers hall of fame

This challenge is right up my alley, so to speak. I just got assigned to do a science class paper on Feline REM.
