A fun new feature of DPC Membership! Banish somebody from DPC for 24 hours!
A new perk of your yearly membership, you can now banish one user of your choice for a 24 hour period. But choose wisely, as you can only use this feature once per year!
YEAH!
:-)

Why is it that I can see people lining up and taking days in order to ban Slippy for the entire year??

What if you banished someone on the day of a challenge submission deadline? That would be cruel since most folks submit on that day. :-(

Ya, that would be extra good to use on scalvert. It would also be fun to banish all of the SC and D&L on the same day. Anarchy!

What if you banned the person with the lowest score in the last challenge. That would ensure the quality of photos dramatically increases..lol :P |

Be kind to Whiterook. He is starting to get shots that are well...um..decent? :) At least it doesn't look like he's a perpetual forerunner for the Brown Crown anyways.

What about self banishment?
What if I feel that I need a day off, in a gesture that would benefit the whole DPC?
I know I could just hide, but it's not the same as a well publicized banishment.

See, it's this kind of creative thinking so often found lacking in government leaders today ... ;-) |

Never knock the ROOK! Ok, in all seriousness go into Whiterooks profile and go from challenge to challenge. If you can't see the difference time at DPC makes then you have got to be out of your mind (start at the beginning and work towards his most recent). Additionally, you will see a set of images that are very unique. Don't knock it till you looked at it. And, you will get to play where's Waldo with Whiterook pictures!!! I saw in comments people who love him and people who hate him, but in the end he makes interesting images and it is a ton of fun to see his work. |

I didn't say a word about Whiterook . You guys are turning a playful comment into something serious. After all, the title of this thread is "Banish somebody from DPC for a day" :P

Sounds like threadjacking fools like me would be high on the banishment list :)
It sounds like fun. I don't know if I'd like to be on the receiving end however. Its bad enough when I have an entry in a challenge and I don't have access to a computer. To be forced into exile? Ouch! |

What if it is a DNMB? What do we do then, find a more distracting member?
Find a more out of focus member?
Find a more over processed member?
Find a less title creative member?
Find an expert rule member?
Or do we just ban a member of the week?

Or if all else fails, Slippy can be the default bannee.
