Have fun! I'd love to visit him someday. And the scenery around there sure is beautiful, or at least Bear brings out the beauty in it!

Have fun Juliet! He is a total gentleman and Karma is a sweetheart. I had a great time, good conversation, and an awesome trip to his secret spice supplier. Your in good hands. :)
Edit to add: I think its warmer on the coast, but its brisk as all heck out there today where I am. Good luck! Bring a scarf!

I am packing a little suitcase full of fresh jalapeños and corn tortillas and any other SW flavour I can can think of for him. If we find an old coffee can and start a fire we will roast the jalapeños.
I am bringing all my warm jumpers and going to be mooching along the coastline a lot. |

Jalapenos I can get, in abundance. Bring me some more exotic peppers. Do you have cheap avocados? If so, bring a bunch. Though I'm not sure there's such a thing as a cheap avocado anymore. When I grew up in San Diego we had a monster avocado tree in our yard that bore fruit year-round. Those were the days... What about squash blossoms? Those available? I have never cooked 'em but always wanted to. And oh, yeah; some of that Queso Cotija, we can't get it for love or money here. We have a big grill on the deck if we want to fire-roast peppers. What about some honking-big Poblanos for chiles relleno?
Shall I organize up a Mexican feast party? Or do you wanna spend your days (daze) shooting, not cooking?
Looking forward to it... Need any Photoshop lessons? (wink)

Damn. Now I want to visit Robert this weekend.
I'm a foodie. Some people eat because they're hungry. I believe that food is a modern form of entertainment.

Here in Orange Co, avocados are plentiful. I have an avocado tree in my backyard, along with lime, lemon, orange, kumquat, and apple trees. What I miss when I grew up in Florida were the mango and coconut trees. :-(
