Ok, so no news from Crystal (aka

jaded_youth ) for about 2 months now.
Crystal, where are you? Give us a sign!

She's a busy girl these days and doesn't get much time online. I hadn't seen her online for quite a while when she popped up on IM last week.

She's alive and well. ;) I was shocked to see

Elvis_L (her hubby) in the forums a few days ago.

hi, I'm here.(kinda).
I'm online, just not on DPC. I spend most of my time on finance, bargain hunting and coupon forums. Times are rough so I gotta keep trying to turn a penny into a nickel indefinately. Hopefully things will get better after we sell a couple of houses, but with the market we haven't even had one person look at our Florida house let alone concider purchasing it. so If any of you are concidering buying in South Georgia or Pasco/Pinellas Florida, let me know. We're desperate. I can guarantee a fantastic deal... lol

Thanks for asking about me. and Thanks Eug for letting me know. I actually was a little inspired to take a photo this morning and signed on to see if there was a challenge it would work for but there's not and I get so caught up I can take 800 pictures of the same shot/idea and waste hours on lighting let alone the time it takes to process. I just can't aford to waste that much time these days, but hopefully soon. or if just the right challenge comes up that I can use one of my easier ideas on. most of what I come up with would take too much set-up and detail. I need to think small, but usually that translates to a low vote, and low votes make me grouchy. No one in my house likes me grouchy. :)
I haven't been able to keep up with anyone elses work. I hope your doing well and congratulations on any ribbons won in recent months. I do miss DPC badly.

I miss you also, as you are a wonderful person and so dam artistic with that camera of yours.....

Hang on Crystal,

I hope things will get better and some houses will be selled soon (I didn't know you were into real estate).
I didn't take any pictures for the challenges either .. I'm working hard on my PhD thesis, so mainly that's eating up all my time.

-Thanks for the kind words Sherryl. Elvis has a photo in voting right now. "Best of", so not a new one really but it's something, more than I did.

-LoL! Bianca, we aren't into real estate which is really the problem. we've just been moved a few times due to my husbands job. the first two places we lived we were dumb enough to buy thinking we were doing the right thing by not wasting our money on rent so when we were transferred we were stuck with homes that didn't sell. We are renting now in mississippi and may not buy again for a while after these houses are sold. but for now we're stuck with three different homes to pay for all at once until we can sell or get forced into foreclosure.

I'm sure your PhD Thesis will be great but jsut in case "Good Luck!". I hope you get get some more time to submit to challenges again soon too.

Crossing thingers for you, hope you'll sell something soon (or maybe just rent it).

My PhD Thesis is going quite well (I had some delays in my planning, 'cause I got married on 5th of january :-o ). I hope I'll finish in june, this way I'll have all summer for vacation :)
'Till then I will probably not submit in challenges ... snif snif
