i did ,in fact, give you credit as the photographer in the details...
and also stated it had been edited by me... ( and named it such so it was obvious ( your image title - with soup added to that title ))

and the compliments made were on the editing job, not the photograph itself so to speak.

and you posted the image here for comments and suggestions, and in fact asked how you could have made it better - and in asking - i decided to modify it a bit.

enough said.

Okay, how about this...

Drop the whole subject. I'm sorry I felt the need to ask for any kind of feedback. I'm sorry that I felt the need to protect my copyright on a photo that when I saw it in another member's portfolio, I saw only that person's name as the file name. I'm sorry anyone feels offended that I felt I had the right to protect a photo I asked for advice about. In no way did I mean to put it up for grabs for editing and when the lines between photographer and editor began to blur, I got uncomfortable.

I gave the shot a 3 in the challenge because I thought it didn't fit the challenge. I subtract a lot of points if I don't think it fits the challenge. I know people will say "well can't you imagine that the black and white "cape" are the wings, and that he's flying somehow...", to which I say "Yes, but if it fits the challenge only 10% that still means it mostly doesn't fit."

I think that's mostly why it didn't score that well. Plus like someone else said it's not properly exposed (too dark), and looks just like a snapshot you'd see at any street fair, etc. with all the cut-off people in the background, etc.
