I missed that, on the interception play?
Pats make it happen. San Diego's gotta keep their cool and play. They're doing fine, they just need to finish their drives. |
Yes, the reason Rivers was falling as he was throwing is because the defensive lineman was missing the tackle and threw his legs at Rivers causing the floating ball and interception. Bad missed call. |

Yeah, went back and looked at it on DVR and you're right, Vrable got away with one there.
In the process, I missed the second interception! |

Man, that Darren Sproles looks like Gary Coleman next to some of those guys, but man is he quick! |

Calm down Marc, you're gonna blow a valve before halftime! |

I'll say it again, we really could have used a TD there instead of three. Oh well, a two point game right now, who would have thought the bolts could be that close?

Man, that's gotta be grating on the Charger's offensive coordinator. Four trips into the red zone, four field goals. This is putting a ton of pressure on the D, which has come through so far, but can they hold off the Brady Bunch all day? |

Does CBS know how to broadcast a gmae without going to commercial every 20 seconds? A commercial after the timeout, then a commercial after the FG, then a commercial after the kickoff, and now a commercial for a timeout.
CBS sucks!
ETA:
At least you guys get real commercials, I have to watch AFN comemrcials. They put commercials on the air that are designed for idiots. I can't tell you how many times I have seen a commercial telling me the difference between a General and a Special Power of Attorney. They think we are all idiots when they make these commercials. Oh, I forgot, the Army watches them too, now I remember why they are designed for idiots.

I thought they were aimed at the Air Force...

This is why the Patriots are undefeated. Take away their passing game as the Chargers have done, and they show you they really do have a great running game too. Sheesh. |

Beautfiul interception, but why didn't he just fall on the ground? Now we are backed up inside the 10. Stupid stupid stupid.
Oh well, at least our D pulled through.
It is going to be 35 degrees in Bagram Afghanistan today with Snow and rain in case you guys wanted to know.

Did anyone expect it to be this close in the 3rd quarter?

No. Chargers have done very well, but I'm afraid they may be in danger of pulling a Ravens/Eagles. Keep it close, fight hard, then lose. D'oh! |

I would say that everyone can turn their TVs off now. New England has just sealed up their trip to Arizona.

B... but, we still have more touchdowns to make. :-)

That very well coudl be. One thing I have noticed is the Refs could go home too. There have been several holding calls that they have just ignored. I don't like pnealty laden games, but I also don't like it when their hands are too cold to reach for their flags.

Ya, not too many flags this game.
Whoa, nice catch! |

Just because there is a timeout on the field doesn't mean you have to go to commercials. Man, I have seen more commercials in the last three hours than I have football!
According to AFN smoking can lead to impotence.

That's two key catches by Faulk in this drive. Great hands! |
