Just got my EOS-300D. Finally got to go out and shoot a few shots. I think I got the hang of it pretty well, but still need work on the metering and the auto-focus changing after I re-frame. Feels REALLY good to shot with this cam...

Any comment of these test shots would be great. Thanks in advance...

Big Congrats on your first shots. I went to a friend's (non-DPC) house yesterday to see his new Rebel. I had to wear a bib to catch the drool! Felt good to have one in my hands and take a few shots. I guess it probably goes without saying I'm more than a little jealous of the growing Rebel team here on DPC. Anyhow I like your first shots!

		| I think I am turning green (envy). Beautiful shots. My two favorites are #2 and #4. I especially like the dof in #4's sky. |

I took several shots of the cows. In some, they seemed to be posing for the camera. If only all my subjects were that camera friendly. LOL!

		mariomel,
Very nice pics; congrats on the new camera! I would really love to have one now. I'm just wondering if you used the new EF-S 18-55 that comes with the kit or another one.
 Thanks,
 Courtenay

I used the KIT lens. I am deciding on other lenses to get, but it is difficult since I spent all my $$$ on the camera. I want a tele-zoom, but can't afford much.
