Wow, your editing really made a difference in this picture! It looks so much better and actually doesn't look like a snapshot anymore.

Can you post the details on the picture how you edited it to look like this? I'd love to try it myself.

Sure I just cropped it then cloned out the table and little girl then burned all around the image, bumped the contrast, lightened the image with curves, dodged her face a little then desaturated the reds. I don't really edit by the numbers just by looks but those are the editing steps I used. Glad you like it.

I do like it a lot - I really had thought there was not hope to make it NOT look like a snapshot! Will try this with the original and see how it turns out.

Would you consider this noir? Personally I think it is...although it wasn't what I had intended when I shot it (the guy makes it noir I think, and the fact he's wearing a suit...otherwise not)
