I am looking for a really cheap lens that has manual aperture controls on the lens. I don't know what to look for in flee bay so can you give me some old lenses that have manual controls... mid range zoom preferred......
I want to make a flash based projector for projecting stuff onto a background.... think of a slide project but with a flash behind it instead of a continuous light.
Do Canon FD lenses do this? How about the Nikon equal......

I have an old manual Canon camera with a lens on it that I'm pretty sure is fully manual. I'll check it out tonight and get back to you as to what it is.

Why not get an old projector and its lens?
You could also use a lens from an enlarger, which actually might be better since they are designed to project an image.

| If you have thrift shops nearby I'd suggest checking them out. We used to sell old lenses for about 10 bucks, because everyone wanted digital-compatible. |
