My main hobby right now is working with warm glass... if you can call fusing and casting glass at up to 1700 degrees "warm".
I also enjoy computers, ham radio (mostly HF when the skip is in) and though we consider our dogs a hobby, I think of them more as a curse at times. LOL!

I play guitar, bass and keyboards (badly on the keyboards part) and sing, occasionally record. I tinker with building things, especially with wood or PVC. I like to read. But most of all, I like to torture SC. :-)

Have you built any DIY stuff for photography? (e.g. light stands, backdrop stands, light tents, etc.)

Not lately, but yes and I plan to build some large diffusion panels for strobe photography soon.

I've built 6'x4' diffusion panels out of PVC and Sport Nylon (I think better than rip stop nylon). They work very well indeed.

Did I mention I like Tinker Toys?
It's kind fun gutting a light bulb :-D
I don't know if you saw my other thread about minimizing the clutter in my life, but most of my homemade stuff is in a landfill. That is until I get another bug up my arse. :-D
I'll see what I can do about those gear bag shots.
