I spent the day dodging raindrop to enjoy the first day of railfest. I wanted to share a few photos I took between the raindrops.
First is the view from the top of the Horseshoe Curve. I took this just as the rain left up and if you look close you can see the rain on the far mountain. //www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=40761
This is a photo of the vintage engines being used to pull the excursion train as it leaves the Horseshoe Curve. //www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=40762
And finally a closer view of the engine as it is coming into the station. //www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=40763
For those of you coming to the get together, temps in the 50's tomorrow and Sunny!!! |

Beautiful shots. You must really be into trains. They have beautiful shapes, especially the older ones. Hope you don't mind me playing with "Elements" .It gives more emphasize to the train. Not the best job but I'm playing with P/S a lot to learn more.
Selected train, inverse selection, desaturate, inverse selection, and contrast, levels on train.

that looks really neat. I didn't have time to do anything with the photo other than just resize it tonight. |
