Turning Japanese - The Vapours :-) (do you know what that song is about????) LOL

ok here is mine

Time was on my side
When I was running down the street
It was so fine, fine, fine
A suitcase and an old guitar
And something new to occupy
My mind, mind, mind

Born to be Alive - The Village People *shudders*

I count the falling tears
They fall before my eyes
Seems like a thousand years
Since we broke the ties
I call you on the phone
But never get a rise
So sit there all alone
Its time you realize

Challenged his right for the love of this maiden.
Down went his hand for the gun that he wore.
My challenge was answered in less than a heart-beat;
The handsome young stranger lay dead on the floor.

Marty Robbins - can't recall the title, something about El Paso

The problem with this is that you need only google the lyrics and you get the answer.

ETA: first link in google with the previous song as the search string

I suppose this is where honesty comes in.

Marty Robbins was a favorite of my Dad, heard his songs all my life. Even met him once in the late 70s. He died some years ago.

New one

You hurt and abuse tellin' all of your lies.
Run around sweet baby, Lord how they hypnotize.
Sweet little baby, I don't know where you've been.
Gonna love you baby, here I come again.

If I were you (and I wish that I were you),
All the things Id do to make myself turn blue
I suppose Id start by removing all my clothes,
Tie my pantyhose around my neck

Easy one here:

I'm a man without conviction
I'm a man who doesn't know
How to sell a contradiction
You come and go
You come and go
