I THINK I can spot some flaws in this design (something about a slight light leak issue) but cool...

Gotta love the "similar items for sale" list. Check it out...
Someone paid $450 for this, so it apparently DOES have collectible value, which I can believe...

You know, it's very possible that it does function properly. The outside plastic shouldn't be what prevents light leaks, and that appears to be all that's clear.
The EOS 650 was a very nice camera. I'm sure it does have collectible value, given that only a few were probably produced this way. I wouldn't have paid $450 for it though. |

Weird, and it looks tacky. Would it really work properly being clear??

| If you look at the picture of the back of the camera you see the black plate that pushes the film into the frame. The other window to the left you can see the film canister but it appears that the rest is light tight. |

I wish I could find a clear 40D... that would be awesomely tacky :-D
