| What's the difference? I mean...besides the price? I'm considering picking up a new lens but have seen that the "made in the USA lens is $60 more? |

They are not made in the USA. One is officially imported, the other is parallel import. One will get you full Nikon Service anywhere, the other only via the salesman.

You don't get the US warranty (5 years)with gray, & it is up to Nikon whether or not they will service it. B&H will honor the gray market warranty (1 year).
