Welcome to DPC! Yes, anonymity during voting is a cherished tradition here (although some of us have seen each other, each other's kids, and each other's styles enough to recognize some of them). And the only person who can see your score is you, unless you choose to share it.

for the first time I got a comment from the first voter
the vote was 4 but after looking at the voter profile I found that his average vote cast was a 4 so I guess it's kind of like a 10. |

I find around here a 7 is like a strong 9.8... almost unattainable save for the few photographers that have got something down and kick butt constantly and the few flukes. :) I was pretty close myself to a fluke way back when... sigh... so long ago... |

Funny how scoring a couple of sixes makes mid-fives disappointing.

Shoulda saved the bunny for "yellow"! (I love peeps. They need to quit making them for every holiday or I will never get a chance to overcome my addiction!)

First, let me say that Ishtar was a good movie. It was just ahead of it's time. I often say the same thing about my pictures.

So here I am holding firm at 5.6
The three comments are getting to me. I want more -not because it's especially good or bad. In fact it's a very mediocre picture. I just love to see that new comment button light up. And I have yet to get a new email update.
On another note, I have voted on and commented on 55 pics for this challenge. my goal is to comment on all. (I had no idea how tough that would be.) Keep your fingers crossed for me. I've got to do 40 more just to get my comments given even with comments received.
