| and no mention from the SC in the usual thread... so CONGRATS to Rob for his first HM, a great achievement, especially in a freestudy!! nice one mate! |

Speaking of that, the person who's photo was DQ'ed had only entered 1 challenge, that one. Yet his profile page says he has entered 1 challenge (I guess he did) and that his average vote received is 7.1437.
I thought if your photo was DQ'ed then those votes didn't count towards your average? If they do count towards your average I think that is very unfair. If they don't count, why does he have that average?

| I didn't think that they counted either, he could be in another challenge still in voting right now with that average though. |

Highly doubtful since the score on that photo is the same as his average vote received.

They're not calculated in real time, since the database hit would be too much. They update every few days, I think as part of the nightly maintenance runs.

Terry can I get an answer on this? This user,  namdy0306, only entered one challenge and that entry was DQ'ed. Yet his average score received is 7.1437. I was under the impression that DQ'ed images do not count towards your average score received. But obivously this is not the case. So if this person is profiting from a DQ'ed image, everyone else who has had an image DQ'ed also gets to keep their score as part of their average?

Thanks, that was last March and I thought there was an announcement since then saying they weren't going to do that anymore.
