Hey, Gary. Long time, no see! Nice to see you're still willing to spend a bit of time with us 'lil ones. ;)

If Kiwiness starts a new religion, I'll accept him as my Guru and start burning incense and chanting!

I was gonna say you suck and you're not a real photographer just to break the monotony, but I couldn't hold a straight face. ;)

The double-leg on the witch is just genius.

What's really so great isn't just seeing what you've done, but that you've shown us what we could do. Pretty much all of my Photoshop skill comes from seeing what was possible and then doing it myself. Without seeing these, I would never even imagine things like this. That's why I try to help others, write tutorials, etc.

And by posting these, you're passing along the same gift. Thank you.

Great work Gary, perhaps we should start a learning thread just like this? Before and after, to help others learn how to use photoshop.

Any comments? Yeah, you're a freakin' genius with PS. :-)

I don't know if anyone has ever mentioned this to you, but you're pretty good at this stuff. ;-)

Pretty cool Gary, have recently started experimenting with similar stuff so great to see how you do it! How do you mask the hair? I usually shoot on a chroma green paper backround and use color range, I am kind of happy but still not quite... Any tips?

Hey nice to see you again. The best method I have for masking hair is a filter called Vertus Mask. The best method around that I have found and I have tried everything :) It is very exact!

Where does one obtain this Vertus Mask?

NM ... Found it with a Mamma.com search ... Yowza ... 209 Euros ...

Enter some more challenges, then we won't be able to forget you ;)

These are awesome - I especially like the under water ones...

Some though could have been shot as the final image was intended, such as the girl with her head on the desk and the blood. Was the intention to purposely do it as a photoshop excercise?

It looks like you won some ribbons back in the day, must have been before my time. It looks like you have some real talent though, I think if you keep at it you could really do something! :P
Seriously, throw us a bone and enter a challenge once in awhile. :)

Man, you are a wizard. Those shots would make for a "Photoshop for Experts" book

I saw Gary in a magazine awhile back with a complete tutorial on this one.
. I forget the magazine but I am sure he can remind me. :)

Where do you find your backgrounds? I know that many are composites, but are all the elements your photos?

Most are my photos, some Nastis and sometimes occasionally stock photos.

Gary Who??? great to see you around. Fantastic before/after images.

These new advanced editing rules must be a bit of an incentive to enter a few challenges??
