Worse. The ity-bity ones that bite and leave a welt for 2 weeks. No-see-ums AKA sand fleas AKA biting midges. We live next door to a nature reserve (translation swamp) and they chew us to pieces.

No, trust me, the palmetto bugs are worse!! They fly, run 3mph, and EAT MEAT. Dead or alive, they don't care!!!!!
