I had thought I saw a thread regarding creating a cheap studio, but I can't seem to find it.
If there really is such a thread, could someone point me in the right direction, if not, would any of you have advice on a "Home Studio for Less" sort of deal?
Things any studio shouldn't be without, where you can get such items for relatively small money, things to know and remember.. something like that.
I'm mostly looking more along the lines of a place where I'd be able to set up shots rather than having random people come in and be photographed in it - though family photos are likely.

Yes, I remember it but not title, but I do remember a few things-- some black fabric (maybe white too) for backdrops, something that won't give you a sheen, you could probably get some at a second hand store. A variety of lighting options too. Though I do 99% shots outside, so hopefully this is at least a 'bump' for you.

Looks like DPC added a search function recently. Go into Q&A or Photo Discussion forums and type in "studio" in the search feature at the bottom of the page. You get tons of "hits".
