I just tallied my total for 2007, and I personaly took approximately 11,000 captures in 2007.
That comes to 30 per day or 210 per week, which sounds about right. :-)
What are some other totals from you shutterbugs out there?

I have close to 10K still on my drives for 07... I delete pretty well, so I would guess 20ish range taken. Done just over 50K for this body & it's 2.5 years old, so I guess I am not a minimalist either :-)

Jayzus! I shoot over 6-7 thousand every month, but then again I do this for a living so... Curious on how much other pro´s shoot on average. |

~25,000
Which is a bit scary coming to think of it, and i'm not a pro. Although i am only basing that on file numbering and how many times it goes past 0 and i cant remember how it all works with different cards etc. And i doubt i have that many actually on my computer ;)
Btw - good tip - store your photos by date each time you upload from the card... It is amazing how many you take, and naming by "name" is just difficult to remember after a year of shooting. |

Larus ... I'd be at 2500 to 3000 a month give or take. If I have an event or two in a month that can go higher |

Each day w/pics = new folder, named 122307 Wild Animal Park for instance.
12 being month, 15 being day and 07 being year, and a brief descriptor.
2007 folder tally runs right around 20,000, 'till I ran outta clicks....

To break my total down, it was like this:
- Pentak K100D: 5,148 shots for the first 9 months of 2007
- Canon EOS 40D: 6,111 shots for the last 3 months of the year.
I shoot a lot of sports, so the 6.5fps on the 40D really up'ed my totals.

I just use Adobe Bridge CS3. Within Bridge, I just do a query on all images taken between 01/01/2007 and 12/31/2007, inclusive. I shoot RAW, so I further filter on CR2 (and PEF) extensions to eliminate converted TIFs and JPGs (and PSDs).

almost 10.000.
that's too much, if you look at the results vs clicks.
next year I want 5.000 images and 2x the results ;)
(that's why I wanna do more on film. makes you think a bit more :))

HA! It died a tragic death.
Should have saved some of the clicks for this year! |

I'm a little embarrassed. Yeah, I'm a pro shooter and all, with sport events as a big part of my income. But sheesh, 63,000 actuations. I thought 50,000 the year before was bad. I'll blame it on getting the Mark III in July. Thank goodness for iView and now Lightroom too. |

I have about 20k on the computer from '07, with 5500 of those from our Australia/New Zealand trip, so actual shots taken would be about a third higher. I've shot a lot less, day to day, since I switched from the S2 IS to the D40 :( |
