Heehee, I've been waiting for a challenge to enter and finally decided on Time Lapse. Unfortunately, I didn't read the challenge description (yeah I know...) that said to use multiple images.

Sentence removed - will re-enter shot... and see how it does

It's not mandatory to use multiple images you know. Remove you image from the forums and enter it.

hmm... you don't think it'll get pounded for not using multiple images? it seems pretty explicit in the challenge description - and that the spirit of the challenge is to celebrate now being able to use multiple images....

???

Nope. The voters won't KNOW you didn't use multiple captures. They may just think you combined them well. Remember, often the best images in challenges fool the viewer in some way. There is an infamous case in a challenge for something like "2 second exposure" and the shot was really only 1/20 second and it did well.

I would doubt you would be DQ'd for only using a single exposure. Some people are thinking of using a single exposure and covering the lens at points etc to get the result given the confusion over the current rules.

Ok - I'll give it a try... though we'll see how it does with all the "fooling" that is going on in this shot.

Alright - you can't get a DQ for not following the challenge details, only if you break the rules, right?
