I love the fact that I didn't have have to edit this, it simply came out this way. It was shot at around 4 PM in my front yard. Any constructive comments would be appreciated. |

Pretty durn good for a first shot, especially straight out of the camera. I find the cut off trees at the sides a little distracting, and of course there's the ever present telephone line to be cloned out. A little image adjustment with curves would really make this pop.
I just gave my daughter the same camera as you have as a birthday gift. It's a heck of a lot of camera for the money. (I also had one for a short time, but chose to exchange it for my Canon)

Thank you!
Yes, that annoying cable was the first thing to catch my eye.
Sadly, I have no editing software capable of cloning it out.
sigh...

Try Paint.net, it's free and also pretty good. I've fiddled with paint.net a little and I have it installed, though PaintShop Pro is my weapon of choice.

Lovely light, and I think the fence just adds the finishing touch. Beyond that, I agree totally with yospiff :) |

I actually have Paint.net, but I had no idea you could clone with it. o.o |
