photog at an Indian wedding in about 4 hours!
My friend and an other photog are the main photogs and the 3rd rang this morning to say he has the flu. My friend just rang and asked me to do it!
I have to do crowd shots etc nothing too high pressure but.....it will be in a hall and I presume low light ( I have never been to the venue) I HATE lowlight. I have never really done it....

Please please any helpful tips?

Be prepared for a LONNNNG wedding. Comfy shoes and possibly a change of shoes.

If the two indian ones I did last year are anything to go by, you are going to have a damn good time.

Yip sounds like they will be fun. My friend just dropped of a flash to put on the camera. Never used one before talk about learning by being pushed in the deep end!

there will be lots and LOTS of dancing, and merriment. Try to get up high to take shots. Get ahold of a fisheye and a wideangle lens if you can! Good luck! I love indian weddings! :)

assuming the flash can be tilted, by all means use bounce when possible. If not, you may want to lower the flash output. You don't want a bunch of harshly-lit faces.
