Happy New Years y'all
This shot was taken of an old checker building in downtown Galveston, Texas. Galveston Island is a very old city and there are alot of old historic buildings. It used to be the happening place for many rich and famous back in the 1800s.

Ahhh, it said I had to be a paying member to make a portfolio? Unfortunately, I just opened up my bank account, so I still have about a week until I get my card. Give me a few minutes and I will edit my post to go to my Flikr account, so that they may be commented.
I was amazed with how the flowers are still intact but have been dead for quite sometime now. |

when looking at one of your shots you should see a image id at the end, in your post click on the thumbnail button (between the globe and the person icon) and put that id number in the box

That's how I've been doing it, and it just gives me an X and then the image #. I used to not have problems before! Oh, well I'll try again. Thanks for your help! |

This is my favorite Osprey in my home town in Sanford Florida. He gives me the most disgusted look every morning while on my way to workâ€Â¦ I hope to show everyone a little piece of Florida that doesn’t include Mickey Mouse.

This is my Grandog it is cold here today and the wind is blowing at about 25 mph. I have been sick all weekend and have my new D-200. I have to take a photo of something. My Daughter has 2 more dogs my son has 2 and my wife has one. So i decided to start with the dogs were I live. |

Went out to pick up our new bed frame. While my husband went in to get it, I decided to give the new camera a little workout ... and then give the LucisArt (also new) a similar workout.
