I'm sure that there have been plenty of threads over the past several days about everyones new toys. I hope so. What a wonderful time of the year to justify a new piece of equipment for "the business", right?

Santa dropped off a Wacom Intuos 3 SE tablet at my house. It is a bit tough to get used to, so any pointers would be great. My main questions is about a clear layover thing that came with it. Am I just supposed to stick that right on top of the grey area of the tablet, or what? I'm a bit confused about that, so any help would be great.

Thank you.

My tablet lets me put a picture under the clear cover and trace it. That might be the reason for the "clear layover thing" that came with it (to keep the picture nice and prevent it from shifting).

So, the thin strip of sticky stuff that would stick directly to the grey layer is OK then? I'm just concerned about sticking it directly to the drawing area, but it is sized perfectly to do that.
