I wonder if anyone here is using Capture One 4.0...?
The reason for asking is that I bought the software myself a few days ago and I really like the features and the results I get on the raw conversions - but the speed sucks big time. Browsing through the pictures takes forever...
I always thogught that Lightroom was slow, but compared to this it's extremely fast.
My Mac is a 2.16 ghz iMac with 3 gb ram - which should be more than enough to run the software - so that's not the problem.
Anyone here using it - and if so, what do you think of it...?
(and yes - I regret buying it. I tried Capture One 3.7 a while back and liked it. That's why I just paid the money for 4.0 without trying it first. Pretty stupid) |

I do have CaptureOne 4.0... it was a free update for me, from the version that I originally got free with a Sandisk CF card :-)
On my 4.5 year-old PC it's a little faster than Lightroom. I honestly like Lightroom's interface a little better, but that's probably mostly familiarity. |

| C1 v4 has some nice updates, and some really bad changes from 3.7, the way they've changed it so that you can no longer change the cache directory/drive was enough for me not to upgrade after trying the beta |
