I've been browsing this forum for a while now occasionally asking questions, but I've been too ashamed of work to post it due to how great the work here usually is, lol.....I didnt wanna get torn apart...I've only been shooting for about 6 or 7 months....I do photos for local rap groups, so here are some of shots, both studio and location

They look pretty damn good to me. Don't know why you are afraid to post your shots if they all look like this.

Again, awesome work! Looks very professional to me, and so beyond my ability to critique, other than to say I wouldn't be surprised to see these on CD jackets.

edit to add..... smoking is hazardous to your health, and rappers shouldn't be doing that to their vocal chords.

I think they're darn good in general. I do prefer the ones where he is looking off camera. More real....keep it real. IMO, that's what Rap is all about.

I would only suggest better backgrounds. More decay, more dirt, more graffiti.

like this or this.

Excellent work! I particularly like the top panel in the third one. The expression, tilt of the head, backlight outlining his face, all work together really well. You captured another great expression in the one with him smoking, but I would have made the crop a bit tighter, loosing maybe half an inch of the bottom.

Good stuff man, nicely done all around and I too could see these in a CD jacket. I would not be too afraid of posting more of your work. Trevor~

Edit for not proof reading. I also like the borders, adds to the urban feel of the photos!
