I did a family portrait session wednesday and four of the photos were really cute but they are blurry and I have tried an unsharp mask and it didn't seem to help much.

If anyone would like to take a look and offer some suggestions I would be greatful.

It's motion blur; shutter speed was too slow. Send them to the recycle bin. |

Agreed, USM is only going to increase noise. Hate it, but those shots are a loss.

I agree the shots can't be sharpened. I disagree that they're worthless. The third one in particular speaks to me of the energy and motion in a baby. Not everything has to be pin sharp. :)

I agree the last one is most definitely a keeper.

These probably aren't salvagable but you may want to try Focus Magic to see what it does. It doesn't help much with motion blur though. |
