I'll be out of the loop for the rest of the day (probably), but who is in favor of switching match-ups each month? Or, we can keep the same opponent during the year... I'm flexible so whatever the general concensus is I'll go with. Unlike Sneezy in the League of Death thread, I'm no grand marshall tyrant dictator (or whatever he's calling himself) so in this democracy let's put it to a vote.

You mean after you've BEEN crushed in my mighty, salmon-breathed bear hug?

MY vote is to keep same oppo for the year. Humiliation, utter humiliation, is my goal.

I'd kinda like to stay with the same person, BUT it doesn't matter to me either way.

It's not really an issue, I guess I'm saying.

Same here, although I would prefer to stay matched with the same person I will go with whatever the consensus

is.

You prefer that namby-pamby, Frenchified frou-frou approach to the raw POWER of gut-fermented salmon? I have only pity for you, to live with such a wimpy palate...

I would choose my wimpy palate over "gut-fermented salmon" breath anyday.

Actually, last night it was "scallop breath"; cooked up some bacon and brown-sugared it, torched the sugar to caramelize, laid on 4 pan-seared scallops apiece, and served with a sweet onion/habanero/cilantro salsa...

Saturday I am smoking a pork shoulder, a beef brisket and a pepper crusted corned beef. Serving it all Sunday with a homemade coleslaw and Head Country BbQ sauce. And he rags on me for being foo foo with his panseared scallops on carmelized bacon.

HAHAHA the Fish vs the Rooster! It is probably no secrect that I am a largemouth bass. I am thinking of that Rooster profile pic replaced with one of "Billy Bass" with some kind of a caption to go with it.

The possibilities....mmmm. Bring it on.

No, I rag on you for being frou frou, and now for not knowing how to spell "caramelized"...

And we need to do it in a neutral location, where there's a volunteer judge to eat all of the food they cook impartially choose between them. Somewhere about halfway between Cape Cod and Columbus. Hmm. Something like ... DC! I'm thinking 50 or 60 weekly rounds, like on Saturday night.

Edited to add: Ryan, be gentle with me. It's my first time. ;)

Yes, yes... far-fetched dreams are nice, aren't they?

Well, they are until the smack of reality hits! Looking forward to serving this up in the first head-to-head! BRING IT!

Oh & BTW, I ain't afraid of Bears! I'd take you on in a side bet to prove it! :P

You wouldn't be referring to this little beauty would you?

If so, there is no way you would want to see me (or some of the other contestants) clad in such lack of attire.

BTW.... very nice shot! ;)

ETA: I'm sure I speak for many of us when I say... let's see more outtakes!!!
