This recent case from California affecting free speech rights in malls may possibly have some influence on mall policies ...

Heck, you can usually recover deleted photos from your memory cards, so if they are adamant about it, just delete the offending photos, don't take any more on that card, and then go home and recover the deleted ones.

But yeah, I agree that you should at least make a stand on the issue, especially if it is in a public area like some of the examples in the copied article.

Certainly not in the malls I go to where I live. The ones where I live are VERY VERY strict.

EX. My friend i'll call them Suzie and Dani [BOTH photographers] I saw were handcuffed and brought out of claires. [Reason unsure, but most likely taking pictures with their GOOD cameras

EX2 [not rly photo related, but about strict mall rules]One other time, I was with my friends at the theater portion of the mall and then a cop said we had to get out if we were to talk. THEN we go outside, and another cop said that we had to be in the parking lot >.> and when we went ANOTHER cop told us to go FARTHER cause THAT part of the parking lot was considered INSIDE..
