It is 4 am on Christmas morning and I am drinking my first cup of coffee. I will leave here in 30 minutes to go feed many people. This is the first year that I volunteered to do this and I am feeling pretty good.

We opened our presents last night because I was going to be gone this morning. Paulina was a real trooper and did not complain at all. Now she gets to sleep in this morning. Chris will make Christmas dinner, and I will come home feeling all warm and fuzzy.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day! Merry Christmas one and all.

Have I ever told you what a wonderful person you are?

Merry Christmas!

Nome, in NW Alaska on the Bering Sea, is known for fabulous salmon fishing. But it is not well known that the milk from the indigenous Muskox, a large bison-like mammal with wool like sheep, makes equally fabulous butter. Milk from the female Muskox is churned in the Spring of each year and stored in casks in the cool waters of Nome River until Fall.

Melted and mixed with lemon juice, vinegar, seasoning, and egg yokes the result is a salmon sauce beyond comparison.

Families gather for feasting in November and December to relish the traditional salmon dinner topped with this unrivaled condiment.

After all, there's no place like Nome for the hollandaise!

May all the happy hub-bub, Christmas paper, squeals of delight, and magical time be had by all as we are now well into our Christmas morning. We did all our festivities over the weekend because my kids, being ministers had to work doing Christmas services yesterday, and one was travelling today. . .so today. . . we are sipping latte's, looking forward to Christmas movies and just hanging out. It's like Heaven!

May Heaven come down to all of you today!

Unfortunately, no one got a stupid gift so I have to miss the speed challenge :)

Happy Christmas, all. Been a whole lot better at this end than I expected. I'm now feeling full of the joys of spring (albeit a little early).
