Just got this yesterday and I am trying to figure out how to customise it. I am trying to figure out how to assign keywords to pix so I can filter by them. Any thoughts here would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance!

word. I'm thinking about trying to get a refund. I'm hating it. It's not all that user friendly.
Do you like it? Why?

I have a database of 125K + images ...
The best thing about the Imatch system is that it is file system based ...
The workflow for me is actually pretty sweet
1) pull off the card
2) open folder in bridge to keyword and sort
3) import into imatch
4) edit images from Imatch
5) export directory for web
When i get a request for a image from 2005 I can do a search from imatch by image name. Kinda sweet

hmmm... maybe I'm just retarded or something. Everything I read about iMatch seemed really appealing. I have about 6000 pix on a drive that I really wanted to index and keep track of for easy retrieval. The interface is a bit annoying so I'm trying to get a refund. Doesn't seem like I can s there is no info about how to go about that. I really dont want to work in 2 apps to get things done. I'm lazy.
thanks for the info!

As I said in my 1st post ... the keywording is really the only thing that I don't like about the app.
I hated it when i first dug into it also. I would suggest giving it a shot ... it takes some getting used to but it is a very powerful management system.
Try this ... open a catalog from the database view
select all of the images in the right pane
hit the IPTC button from the menu bar
It will pop up the IPTC dialog you have all of the IPTC information there Enter what you need and save it ... simple ...It does work ... It could flow better though.
One thing that is for sure ... the developer is not totally adverse to making changes if they make the app better ...
