I haven't seen anything up to this point about any 2008 Picture of the Week or Picture of the Day Projects. I started a Picture of the Day project in 2006 and while I finished it, I found it to be a complete hand-full. I found my 2007 Picture of the Week much more agreeable and now that I am near the end I am looking to start it again for 2008.
Anybody in for either a Picture of the Day or Picture of the Week Project?

I will be continuing with my photo-a-day blog, this will be my 3rd year. I absolutely love it and often post more than one photo a day.

I won't be doing a blog or anything technical like that, but I fully intend to do a PaD in 2008, making it, like Karen's, my third year. I find it to be excellent motivation for picking up the camera and just shooting something when I'm feeling as though I can't be bothered.

I kept up with my PAD until some time in September then the wheels fell off and I havent been as regular but am still posting as often as possible. I will continue mine as well, just might not be able to post every day. I have made some great blogging buddies through this project.

Ha! I lasted about 4 weeks last year... then life got in the way :(

I did good in 2006 with a PAD.
Then, in 2007, I did a PAD and PAW. The PAW went for over 30 weeks, and the PAD went up into October, although I didn't post them on the Internet.
This year, I am picking 12 songs (or maybe 15) and putting them to "pictures." Very similar to what has been done here in the forums a couple of times.

I'll try doing a pic a wk, I think the PAD would be a little overwhelming at times... I'll see where I'm going to post them & throw it in here somewhere :)

I'm going to do the same. Probably won't manage a post every day, but I'll try to get at least one or more every week.  Loriprophoto and KarenNfld, you both have such great blogs! I visit both fairly regularly, but don't leave comments because of the requirements to sign up to something in order to comment.
If anyone is interested and has their own web host, I've found Pixelpost (software used on my blog) to be easy and good to use. I can see an overview of statistics, comments, and more. It's a great photoblog software, in my experience. It's called Pixelpost. The drawback is that you have to install it on a web server.

I too have enjoyed everyones posts during 2007 and met some great people. I kept things up till September 2007 and will be attempting a PAW through 2008. My blog is //talj.wordpress.com

I have a PAD going that I started on the 16th November, it seemed as good a day as any to start. It's very daggy and really just self indulgent, kind of like an online journal. I started it to try and dig myself out of a deep depression and it has helped with that surprisingly well. It's here //wildcardau.blogspot.com/ Sucky photos warning.
